We recommend scheduling your newborn consultation calls 4-6 weeks before your due date. IF YOUR BABY IS ALREADY HERE, please call us as soon as possible last minute spots may be available, but are not guarunteed. Note: We do require a credit card on file to book a consutation session. Your card will not be charged until your session date.
This is where the fun starts! Your consultation call helps us get to know you, your family, and your style so we can design your dream session. We will talk about clothing, color and styling, prop selection, and the overall feel you are wanting. We can also go over how to coordinate your clothing for a cohesive and beautiful gallery of portraits that complement each other. Your session is individually and creatively designed to the last detail.
During your call, we will book your portrait session date. Newborns will be booked for a *flexible date. That way we can move your session if needed when baby arrives.
*We understand newborns come on their own schedule, so after your baby arrives, just give us a call, and we will adjust your session date if needed.
Your little one has arrived now it’s time for your portrait session. The best time for newborn portraits is before your baby is two weeks old. This is the time when your baby is the most sleepy and poseable. Milestone sessions can be done anytime between 3 and 12 months.
When you arrive for your session, there is no hurry. We will get your baby calm and sleepy first, then we will begin the session. If at any time your baby becomes unsettled, we can take a break for a feeding or a diaper change. The photo session will take anywhere from 1-3 hours, depending on how happy and settled your baby is.
